The apartment has been renovated with care, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. It’s clean and well furnished, with host Loli being attentive and very helpful. You’re in the beautiful Jewish quarter, right behind a lovely synagogue and away from the main road. Everything is within a ten-minute walk, and a taxi from Toledo train station costs less than 10 euros.

A fire broke out near Toledo, and roads and access routes were closed in the early hours of Friday. Following the authorities’ precautions, we decided it was safer not to travel with our children. We’d planned to spend a night there and visit part of Toledo’s historic center the previous afternoon, while vacationing in Madrid. We asked to cancel for free for these very justified reasons. The company refused, showed no empathy, and treated us extremely rudely. They even said, verbatim, that we were sensing a danger that wasn’t real, despite the fire receiving extensive media coverage. Toledo is their home, but tourists shouldn’t have to put themselves at risk because a company won’t refund 100 euros for accommodation. No amount of money is worth risking my family’s well-being. I hope nobody else has to go through what we did. There are plenty of places to stay in Toledo, hopefully with staff more empathetic and attentive to what’s happening around them than people who only care about money. Stay somewhere else!

We only spent one night, but the beds and the whole experience were great. If I’m back in Toledo, I’ll definitely stay here again.
