There was no help or alternative offered by the owner or contact person, despite the elevator being out of service. It was advertised with an elevator, but we only found out when we arrived, after already paying the price for an apartment with one. Even if it worked, it could only fit one person without luggage. The apartment is on the third floor of an old building, with narrow, steep stairs, so it's unsuitable for people carrying bags, using strollers, or older guests. The value for money is awful, and the owner's service was appalling.

The apartment had a strong musty, sewage-like smell, and the crib they supplied was broken and in poor shape. The elevator was out of order. My wife and daughter got stuck inside while it moved up and down, and the doors wouldn't open for 30 minutes. They eventually got themselves out because the repair service didn't arrive in time. When we called the apartment manager afterward, he said he couldn't help and claimed elevator service wasn't included in the listing, though it was, as shown in the attached photo. We never met anyone who could assist us. They'd left the parking card buried under a rock.

Raquel looked after us so kindly and stayed attentive to whatever we needed. The apartment itself was lovely, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed, with fantastic facilities and an unbeatable location. We’d happily recommend it and will definitely come back.

The hosts' restaurant and tapas suggestions were a 10 out of 10. The apartment was cozy, and the location was superb. We'd definitely stay again if we come back to Toledo.
