La Posada de Manolo

The top-floor breakfast room had a lovely view of the cathedral and city, and they let guests go up at night to enjoy it too. Breakfast was good, with pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. The bed was comfortable, and the hospitality and service were excellent. A beautiful hotel and a great experience.

The front desk woman was welcoming and gave us plenty of helpful information. We stayed at La Posada De Manolo from 4/29 - 5/1 this year and loved it. The building has an old medieval feel, with heavy doors and latches, and our room had big stone weights and chains hanging from an ancient-looking cross beam. It still had all the modern conveniences. The hotel sits on a charming, winding cobbled side street, and we could see the cathedral lit up at night from the breakfast room terrace. The top-floor breakfast room also looks out at the cathedral.

There are lots of books you can borrow for free and take to your room to read after a day walking around Toledo. We also loved how cozy the rooms felt and how convenient the location was. The staff were warm, quick to help, and especially useful if you’re new to the city. At night, head upstairs for a one of a kind cathedral view. The interior has a welcoming feel and a great atmosphere. What a place!

We loved being right in the middle of the Old Town, close to the historic sights and restaurants, with cars squeezing past the balcony window. The hosts, Manolo and Almudena, were friendly and kept in touch well when we arrived and checked out. The room and attached bathroom were comfortable and nicely furnished, and the reception area had cozy traditional decor. Parking is offsite, so expect to carry your luggage. With the hotel discount card it cost 17.55 euros for 24 hrs. The walk from the garage took about 4 minutes over steep, narrow cobbled streets. It was very doable, and we even enjoyed that little approach to the hotel. La Pasado de Manolo was a great base for walking around Toledo’s historic area.
