Posada de Tollo

We brought our puppy along in July, and the staff were so understanding about the fact that puppies can still be a bit unruly. It was our first trip with him, so that reassurance meant a lot. My boyfriend and I felt at home, and they were considerate of the other dogs too. The house is lovely, with a garden where our puppy could run around. We’ll definitely come back.

The room was cozy, and we had a lovely view of the Picos de Europa. Outside, there’s a pretty garden with a pond and places to sit and unwind. The inn itself is beautiful, and the meals were good, especially the delicious breakfasts. Having Mia, the resident dog, keep us company over breakfast was a treat. She’s very affectionate. Pepa is charming and Gema is a sweetheart. They make everything easy, help however they can, and suggest places to visit and eat. The whole place feels warm and welcoming. Like someone once wrote in a review, staying at the Tollo Inn feels like visiting a beloved aunt, with Gema as the cousin you adore. We’d love to return. Thank you both for everything!

The garden is beautiful, and the views are lovely. The common areas feel very welcoming, and both the room and bathroom are spacious. The receptionist and owner were incredibly kind and the service was wonderful. It’s a charming, peaceful place surrounded by nature, just right for relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to the Picos de Europa.

We stayed for a few days in August and found the peaceful, welcoming place we’d hoped for. Everything was spotless, and the owner was friendly and attentive throughout. We felt safe with the COVID-19 prevention measures in place. The inn is easy to get to, about 10 minutes from Potes and 5 minutes from Tudes, one of Cantabria’s most beautiful villages. Its location is great for fresh air, lovely views, and getting away from it all. It was a fantastic choice for us.
