The village is small and a good place to get away from it all. Our apartment was clean, had all the essentials, and is well placed in the valley for hiking and other activities.

After hiking, swimming, and being around people, this is a lovely spot to come back to for some peace and quiet. It’s very close to Torla, and Pilar is lovely, with lots of suggestions for places to visit. We had the third room, and hauling our bags and suitcases up left us a bit exhausted. Once we were settled, though, it was PERFECT. There’s a fountain right outside the building with water that’s amazingly cool, even colder than from the fridge. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Pilar was really nice, and the apartment had everything we needed. It’s in a small village that’s great for relaxing.

The garden was a great place for breakfast or dinner, and the apartment was fantastic. The beds were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Pilar was very kind. We’d recommend La Abadía de Fragen 100%.

The host was wonderful and the apartment lovely. We had a fantastic time there in September 2024, and would definitely choose the apartment again if we return to the area.
