Sole was so welcoming and informative, and the staff were amazing. The place was spotlessly clean, with really hot water, free parking and a great location for the price. The beds were amazingly comfortable, but the lack of soundproofing was a big problem. Noise from other rooms and the corridor gave us two poor nights of sleep.

We stayed one night, and the hotel was great for the price. The Sky Bar was nice. Breakfast gets busy, so it’s best to go down early.

The location was a real plus. The hotel was lovely and clean, though it felt a little quiet when we visited in late April, probably because of the season. No complaints from me. It might suit older guests especially well.

The pool was pleasant, but the stay was only okay for us. For the price, the rooms felt small and the furniture looked dated. The outdoor table and chairs were flimsy plastic, and the tile felt a bit unpleasant underfoot even though it didn't seem like a cleaning issue. You can barely see the ocean from the room.

We keep coming back, and the newer, softer mattresses made the rooms more comfortable this time, or at least that's how they seemed to us. Everything was very clean, and we had a lovely sea view. The pool was a bit chilly. A little heating would be nice, though electricity costs make it understandable that it isn't heated more. The staff were friendly everywhere, breakfast had a lovely range of choices, and we felt it was good value. The hotel is especially popular with German tourists, and it was nice to see it still busy toward the end of October. It's near the beach and the festival site, though that has since moved. You can walk into town in about five minutes. We hope the planned apartment development on the old campsite and the wasteland next door doesn't cause too much trouble over the next few years.
