I stayed one night. Everything was okay, the staff were really friendly, and the price was very good for the quality.

It's small but comfortable, and the service was kind and friendly. The bedrooms are compact and cozy, with the basics covered. Breakfast is a good chance to have a rustic Spanish meal. Great prize, and Merida is very close by car.

The bed was good, supper was okay, and the room was clean. The rest barely gets two stars: it was loud, the toilet kept running because of a fault, the door couldn't be locked from inside, and the floors felt spooky with no working light. For this region and type of hotel, it was quite expensive.

We were a pilgrim couple from the UK, and had a clean, pleasant twin room with a bath for €40. After a long day on the VDLP Camino, a deep hot bath was just what we needed. The restaurant dinner was more than enough for two hungry pilgrims, and the bar was open for coffee from around 7.00am. It was better than some reviews here make it sound.

There’s a Spar right next door for groceries, and a nearby bus stop if you want to go into Merida. The hostal also has a bar and restaurant. Our room was big, clean, and tidy, and the host was friendly.
