Hotel Sanz

Hotel Sanz feels like a home, with a warm atmosphere that you don't get in sterile chain hotels. For a small, basic hotel, the comfort and care felt like a kind of luxury. It was spotless throughout, with very white towels, and Salima on the cleaning team was charming and clearly dedicated. The room was prepared well, the linens were good, and the curtains kept out daylight. I slept better here than at other hotels in the same price range. It's right in the lively heart of Torremolinos, and there's an on-site restaurant that I look forward to trying when it reopens after its vacation. The people made the stay. Mr. Oscar was a true gentleman and a highly professional, attentive host. I arrived as an older man struggling with two heavy bags, and he hurried to open the door and help, with the care of a butler at an eight-star estate. That sort of proactive service is rare in a small hotel and often missing even in four- and five-star places. It felt like a calling to him. Mr. Jillali was warm-hearted and brought a real sense of welcome to reception. His kindness made each exchange feel like talking with an old friend. Salima's friendliness also made the place feel cared for. Hotel Sanz isn't officially rated, but the team and service deserve a high three-star rating.
