We had a good time, which is what matters, but some details should be kept in mind. The best parts were the peaceful surroundings, nature, outdoor space, firewood, barbecue area, and games area where kids could play foosball. I imagine the pool would be a plus in summer too. On the downside, there are only three bedrooms instead of four, just one shower, and no heating. The energy comes from solar panels and a generator at certain times. I also found the inside of the house somewhat uncomfortable, though that’s just my personal opinion. We weren’t happy with how the deposit was handled when we spoke with José, although getting the refund itself was no problem.

The location is lovely and peaceful, secluded enough that nobody bothers you, but there are small villages nearby and Tortosa isn’t far. A supermarket is about a ten-minute drive away. The house runs on a well and solar panels. We stayed five days as eight people, six adults and two children, and would definitely return. Thanks for everything, Jose! 👍👍 The outdoor area was our favorite: a great pool with sun loungers and artificial grass, a wood-fired barbecue, and a games room with pool table, foosball, and darts. Some people say the pool is small, but it worked well for us and we made the most of it. There’s also a sandbox stocked with toys for little ones. Inside, the farmhouse is fantastic and very well kept, with nice bedrooms, clean bathrooms, a pleasant dining room with sofas and a TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s no oven in the kitchen, but a small wood-fired oven in the barbecue area works great for cooking. The owner was incredibly helpful when the pool pump broke, fixing it for us within a couple of hours.

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the barbecue is great, and the kids loved the pool. Some things need attention, though: two beds are in a passageway, and one bed frame is in poor condition.

We had a lovely weekend in this whole-house rental, surrounded by olive trees and countryside. It’s a great place to get away for a few days, and we’ll definitely return. Pets are welcome, and the owner, Milan, greeted us kindly and explained everything in detail. The outdoor space is generous, with dining tables across the porches. In summer there’s a pool that gets sun practically all day, though watch out for bees and lots of flies. There’s also a barbecue area and wood-burning oven, plus a games room with billiards and table football. Kids have a play area with a trampoline, sandpit, toys, and things like toy motorcycles, a little kitchen, and board games. There’s even a speaker for music, and another room by the barbecue has a second bathtub. The bedrooms are small but adequate since we spent most of our time outside. The kitchen has utensils, a microwave, and a wood-burning oven; there are two toilets and a bathroom with a bathtub. Be careful with the shower head because it splashes.
