Hostal Sant Jordi

The shower leaked water everywhere, so all our things got wet. The room was also very humid, with no ventilation, and every surface felt damp. There was one window facing another guest's balcony, which made us uncomfortable, though we did use it. The bathroom was inside the room, with no door between the bed and the toilet or shower. The employee we dealt with was great and accommodating, but that was about the end of the good experience. You're not paying for luxury, and for one night we were fine with just a bed and somewhere to put our stuff. We're used to hostels and unusual setups, but this is the first place we wouldn't return to. If you want comfort or plan to stay longer, look elsewhere. Also, if you like extreme palm tree themed screen-printed wall decor, this might be your place.

We told them we'd be arriving late, but when part of our group got there, the rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and we couldn't get accommodated. The reception was unfriendly, ignored us, and didn't answer our calls. When we raised the problem, they disappeared and we couldn't reach an agreement, so we lost all our money. They didn't even give us the keys. This is a scam. Don't go there!

The host gave us the wrong room. Then, while we were out, she went into it and moved our luggage without asking us first. Completely unacceptable. We also had to pay 5€ for electricity and another 5€ for a fan, which is ridiculous, especially given that the price wasn't cheap. I've never come across this before. Worst experience of my life. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSTEL UNLESS YOU HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO!!!

We were there for 10 nights. It's noisy and the rooms are small, but the price is very good. The central location made it easy to get everywhere, including the beach, shops and cafés. Most of all, the staff are absolutely lovely.
