Josep, his son, and the rest of the team do a wonderful job. Everyone was kind and helpful, the service was excellent, and the rooms were amazing. The breakfast was incredible too. Such great energy, highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation and Josep and the team still gave us a warm welcome. They arranged somewhere to store the bikes, with a wash area and tools we could use for free. Our room worked perfectly for a short stop before setting off early the next morning. The local food menu was great, and our waiter kindly translated it for us. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area.

We had dinner here as well as staying overnight. The food was simple and good, and breakfast was good too. The hosts made us feel very welcome. My favorite part was the shower: lovely warm water and strong pressure, which is hard to find in hotels these days.

Booking on their website costs less, and the place is in a convenient spot. I really liked the tasty breakfast and very good coffee. The menu has quality home-cooked Catalan dishes with plenty of good options. I'll be back.

Mr. Claverol, the owner, was so kind and made sure we had everything we'd asked for, always with a big smile. La Canonja is right in the center of Tremp, and its recently renovated rooms offer the comforts of a 3-star hotel for hostel prices. We also enjoyed the authentic Catalan food and the local hospitality. Highly recommend visiting.
