Playitas Villas - Sports Resort

Eva's yoga class was a real highlight for me. She's a teacher from Norway with a lovely style and bright energy, and she offers different options for each exercise so everyone can take part at their own level. There's plenty to keep you active here, from fitness classes and yoga to swimming, cycling and outdoor sports. The whole place has an energetic, sporty feel, and it's easy to stay on the go throughout your stay. Whether you come to train, join activities or just enjoy the atmosphere with like-minded people, there's a nice mix of wellness, sport and relaxation. I'd definitely come back and recommend the Resort.

I’ve been here twice with my school, and I’ll always remember both trips. The rooms, food and all the things to do were just great. There’s loads of different sports on offer. I remember jogging over the mountain beside the resort and down the other side before sunrise. Then breakfast, with so much good food. It’s a training resort, which is probably a good thing, or I’d have been rolling around after eating all that! The little grocery shop is pricey, but you can walk 2 km to the nearby town for cheaper water and other things. And you have to try “aqua fun” in the main pool, it's fun for all ages. If you get the chance, see whether ‘ANDREW’ is hosting. It was a 10/10, really funny experience. I always recommend this place to friends.

There are activities for kids and adults who like to keep moving, and the atmosphere and facilities make it a great place to reset and train. I came back this year with Escape Dance Holidays 2026 and expect I'll be back next time too. I'm into MMA, and there wasn't much aimed specifically at that, but I still got in plenty of cardio, strength work and calisthenics during my stay. It's a great spot for anyone who wants to stick closely to their training routine.

Food was great, the service very good, and there were endless options for sport. For a holiday at a sports resort, it was a good four-star experience, and I'd happily recommend the place. Room cleaning could be better during the stay. The bathroom and floor in particular weren't always cleaned properly.
