This is a comfortable place to unwind after a walk or some sports in the Valderejo Valley. The dining room is very, very nice, and the food is excellent. The staff go out of their way to make things easy, and the prices are genuinely competitive. If relaxation is what you’re after, it’s well worth considering. Don’t expect luxury, just a pleasant place with friendly service. And if you’re exploring these incredible landscapes, keep Etxea in mind. You won’t regret it.

We only stopped for a bite by chance, but the pig’s ear pintxo was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, so we stayed for lunch. The cozy dining room has a lovely rustic feel, with wooden walls. The local beef ribeye stood out, and the home-style cooking was excellent, with the chef showing real skill in how the dishes were made and presented. There’s also a very good wine list. Great value for money. I’d definitely return with friends to try more of the menu.

We also had a meal at the restaurant. The menu was very good, and the service was excellent and incredibly quick. The rural setting is picture-perfect, and I highly recommend it. We stayed at the guesthouse for two nights and were delighted with our clean, well-heated room. The shower was a little small, but that was the only minor issue. Everything else was perfect!
