Aiora Hostel

The place was freezing, and it’s really just a long hallway divided into makeshift rooms. They’re open at the top, and the doors are only cardboard, so you hear everyone and everything. The staff were really nice, though, and it was clean.

The staff were kind and everything was very clean. It’s so close to the beach, and I’d recommend this hotel for a short stay.

There’s nobody working on site. You enter with a numeric code sent by message, and once inside it’s just one huge space divided by walls that don’t reach the ceiling. You hear and smell everyone all the time, so getting any rest is impossible. There are no windows, no room keys, and no shared space to relax. The bathrooms aren’t well equipped, and there’s no hot water. The place doesn’t feel secure either. I wouldn’t call it a hostel.

The beds were clean, and the hostel is right in front of the metro. But sleeping was difficult: there were no doors, just curtains, and the snoring was indecent. The kitchen was always full of dirty dishes and cutlery. The bathroom was cleaned once a day, but after a shower the floor was completely flooded. We were three girls in a mixed hostel where most of the people staying there were middle-aged men. They seemed to live there and would bother us at night when we passed them in the bathroom.
