Campus Albufera

The pool was clean, filtered, and lovely, and the bar stays open all day. Everyone we met was friendly, and the place has a relaxed, casual feel. Shops and restaurants are two minutes away, and the beach is a 10-minute walk. There’s a trampoline and a park for kids, too. I’ve read some unfair reviews and wanted to share our experience. There were no bedbugs in our bungalow. The bungalow had good equipment, though a little more storage would help. If you're expecting the Ritz, you may be disappointed, but for a laid-back Spanish stay, you won't be.

It's quite convenient for reaching Valencia city and the nearby beach. But the bathrooms were very dirty, with mold everywhere. They were old, which wouldn't have bothered me, but after two days I politely asked reception whether they would clean them. They said they were clean and refused. On my final evening I tried to pay my bill, but was told checkout could only happen on the day of departure, even if you planned to leave early. Reception doesn't open until 9am.

It’s a great spot to relax, and the bus stop for the city is right outside the campsite, which was really handy. Our bungalow was nice and had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The one drawback was that there was no Wi-Fi in the cabin, which made remote work difficult.

We spent three nights here in May in bungalow 13. It was far enough from the bar but not too close to the road at the far end of the park. There was a shared BBQ area, though we usually ate out. The staff were friendly. The air conditioning couldn't cool the main bedroom well because it faces the living area.
