Caro Hotel

We were welcomed at the door, and they took care of the car with valet service. They had coffee ready while showing us on the map where to go around the city. The room was beautiful and unique, with a huge shower and great towels. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to restaurants, shops, museums, parks, landmarks, and more. Checkout at noon made for a relaxed late morning. They kept our luggage and car while we spent the rest of the day enjoying the city. The staff were kind and friendly. Wonderful stay, highly recommend.

We switched rooms during our stay because I wanted to experience two of them. The attic room had a sloped ceiling, exposed wooden beams, and lots of charm. Its open spa-style bathtub looked inviting, and there was a separate walk-in shower. At night, the sound of rain on the roof tiles was very relaxing. The hotel's old architectural features blend beautifully with contemporary, minimal design. It feels steeped in history while still light, cozy, and welcoming. The elements of 2,000 years of history are part of everyday life here, creating elegant, comfortable spaces. We decided to try breakfast even though it wasn't included in our room rate. The service was fantastic and friendly, and the breakfast room was beautiful. An ancient wall that divided the old town centuries ago runs through the middle, so you can sit on the town's 'inside' or 'outside'. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as there were so many choices around, but its layout and minimal design looked very inviting. Maybe next time! The hotel service was brilliant, and nothing seemed to be a problem. We can be demanding, but felt at ease straight away. The complimentary tea and coffee selection is worth mentioning. Having morning coffee delivered to our room, or a nightcap, was a lovely touch. The hotel is on a quiet street in the old town, a short walk from all the major sites. Perfect.

The room made the stay for me: it was roomy, full of character, and had lovely views from both the bed and the shower. Watch your head around the sloped ceiling, though. The hotel is a beautifully restored historic place in Valencia, with a peaceful, breezy feel and sea air that made it easy to unwind. There were nice extras too, like a free snack bar and plenty of drinks, including Hong Kong-style milk tea. The #Lalique bath and skincare products felt wonderfully luxurious. When the room safe failed, staff responded quickly. They couldn't repair it, but arranged secure storage for my valuables at reception and checked everything properly. Great value, and I'd happily recommend it for a relaxing, distinctive stay.

The service really stood out. The staff were always ready to help, and the hotel has a luxurious feel. It's in a great area, surrounded by lovely architecture and plenty of good restaurants. The building itself is beautiful, and the rooms are exceptional. A special place to treat yourself to.
