I’d seen someone else mention the same problem. I had a reservation just before the floods in Valencia, when there had been destruction and deaths. They had the audacity to say we could still come because the airports were open and we could book a flight. My train had been cancelled and there were no buses available. They refused a refund given the circumstances, though eventually I got a voucher. I hadn’t planned to book with them again, but was forced to. So I made another reservation for February. Two weeks before it, they emailed to say the apartment was no longer available and moved my reservation to a different location. They graciously said there’d be no extra cost, even though with that kind of inconvenience there should at least have been a discount or upgrade. Avoid at all costs.

We were meant to stay there during DANA, Spain’s largest natural disaster in the past 20 years. Roads were closed, the city was flooded, and more than 200 people died. The managers of Faltsforyou refused to cancel our reservation and reimburse us, saying the airport was operating so we could still come. That was ridiculous, reprehensible, and inhuman. We had to escalate the issue to booking.com to resolve it. A very bad experience with greedy people.

The apartment worked perfectly for our two families with children: it had two separate areas, each with a bedroom, toilet, and living room, with the kitchen in one of the living rooms. The host was friendly and helpful. It’s in a quiet area near the beach, Oceanograph, and the museum of science. Bus 19 stops just outside and goes to the old town, though the trip takes about half an hour or longer. Bioparc is also a nice place to visit.

The apartment was clean and modern, and the price was fair. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was amazing, near shops, restaurants, the city centre, and the beach. I’d definitely recommend it.

The owners provided excellent service, and the place was cozy with a small kitchen. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance, with grocery shops and bike rentals next door. It takes 15 minutes by bike to get to the centre and main park. I’d choose the same place next time.
