Hostal On Dormire

The hosting was generally good, and the double room with a bathroom was a good price. The hot water was a problem, though.

Everything else was fine, but the hot water would stop for a few minutes while I was showering.

Good value for the money. The staff were nice, but the rooms are very dated and have lots of imperfections.

I booked a non-refundable room for myself in February. Later, plans changed and I needed to add another person. Since there was a large bed, I asked the hotel if I could pay extra, change rooms, or have the other person stay with me. I contacted them a week before arriving, after making the booking a month earlier. They refused every option and wouldn't cancel the reservation. I know the situation was my fault and my responsibility, but they didn't try to understand or help, or even explain whether they had no rooms available. Every few days I got another rude, dismissive reply along the lines of, “These are your problems, goodbye,” or “Leave us alone.” For anyone who cares about service and wants to avoid stress, I strongly advise against this hotel. The staff were appalling.
