Kora Lluna

The location worked well for us, even though Kora Lluna isn't downtown or right on the beach. It's about a 15-minute walk to the big local beach through the interesting old fishermen's quarter, and about the same to Valencia marina. Maritim metro station is only a five-minute walk away. I'd definitely stay here again for the spacious rooms, the quality of the development, and the balcony. The staff are very friendly. My room faced the city and had a large balcony with a shower, deck chairs, and a table, a really nice idea. The rooms are new and roomy, though a little spartan, and they do the job. The bathroom was absolutely fine. There's a gym and a generous inner courtyard, plus a swimming pool, but it's small and gets crowded quickly. Don't expect a pool holiday unless you're the sort of person who goes swimming at 8 am. Breakfast was acceptable, with limited choice, though the products were good quality.

The team deserves a mention, they were always there to help make things comfortable. The hotel is packed with useful facilities: self-service laundry, gym, coworking space, digital lockers, pool, and games area. It's very central too, with the metro right across from the hotel, seven minutes to the city center, and the beach about a 10-minute walk away. We'd definitely come back. One thing that caught us out was the room category. We booked a room with a balcony, but the rooms on the inner side of the building don't have one. They have a terrace that's part of the route people use to get to reception. They did later move us, but we were surprised by what we'd booked, so the room categories could be clearer. For stays shorter than five nights, cleaning isn't included. They can provide fresh linens and towels on request, though, and that was no problem for us.

For the price, this hotel is great. The rooms feel new and are convenient, though a little small, and the bathroom and shower were good. There's a nice little kitchen for cooking, with several supermarkets nearby where it's easy to pick up tasty fruit. The location is good and the style is nice.

The hotel's pretty much in the middle of everything, and it's new with things working as they should. Staff were nice and helpful. The pool is pleasant, though it could use more sun loungers around it. The gym is fine for a basic workout. I'd recommend renting a bike, since it's easy to ride almost anywhere in the city and there are designated bike routes along the roads.
