Mercat Suites

Everything was close by, and the suite was really clean when we arrived. The host was great, too. There are lots of good restaurants serving traditional food, especially Paella, as well as bars around Mercat Suites. A few bike rental stations and shops are nearby as well. I’d definitely recommend it.

A small, comfortable place for two, right in the city. The restaurant downstairs does great Paella, which is a nice extra.

The location is very central, but there’s so much noise from outside that sleeping is difficult.

The apartment was bright and roomy, and the bathroom was fine with no smell at all, despite what some other reviews say. They’d left shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Getting in with a code was easy. Storage was a bit limited, though: no wardrobe, just a clothes rack and drawers. The chest also held a fridge and microwave, plus an iron, kettle, plates, glasses, and cutlery. There was a little table and two chairs, but they looked flimsy, so we didn’t use them. The bed and pillows were too soft for me. The duvet had a stain, and they don’t top up towels or toilet paper. We did get a fresh roll on arrival, along with a partly used one that looked pretty disgusting. We stayed on the first floor, overlooking a street with restaurants. Weekend voices died down early, so they weren’t the main nuisance. The garbage trucks on Sunday sounded like they were driving right over us at ungodly hours. The central location was a big plus.
