NH Collection Valencia Colón

The rooftop bar is beautiful, with seating in both sun and shade, and the location made it easy to walk to all the city’s attractions. We had room service on our first evening, and the food was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful, with a buffet and freshly cooked dishes you could order. We were initially a bit concerned about the hotel being on a busy street, but once inside, we didn’t notice it. Our room was average in size, clean and nicely decorated, and the rainfall shower was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Paulo and Salvadore, who we enjoyed chatting with. They also made us great cocktails. We’d definitely stay again.

The hotel gave us a lovely gift at checkout to remember the good time we had in Valencia. Our family stay was beautiful, and the location worked especially well for exploring the old town. The lobby is small, but there’s a relaxing lounge upstairs on the second floor, and the rooms are an adequate size. The breakfast spread was very nice, with plenty of regional dishes. Angela greeted us warmly every day, and we felt well looked after. Beatriz and Jose also made sure our needs were met. I appreciated how hard the staff worked to make us comfortable. They listened to our feedback and acted on it right away. I admire a team that welcomes feedback and works to improve its service.

The hotel was relaxing, with extensive breakfast choices, and the service was impeccable. Its central Valencia location made it easy to get everywhere, and the rooms were comfortable with great decor and superb blackout curtains. Just a couple of small things could have been better. The fitness centre doesn’t open until 8:30 am, and on half marathon day, breakfast didn’t start any earlier. Even a little coffee and some cold options would have been a nice touch.

The room was gorgeous and tiny, but just right for my sister and me. The bed was firm yet comfortable, the AC worked beautifully, and the hair dryer was great, which isn’t always the case at hotels. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and Juan, the bartender, was funny and warm.
