One Shot Mercat

We’d happily come back. The staff were so friendly, and they even upgraded our rooms, which was really kind. The hotel is right in the center, close to pretty much everything on foot, but it’s on a quiet side street. Inside, it’s beautifully modern and spotless, with roomy, peaceful rooms and modern bathrooms.

The breakfast had a decent range of food, though eating in the back room of a closed restaurant felt odd. Staff service was just the minimum: one person at reception, not especially welcoming but not rude. The hotel was very clean, but it felt a little worn and the rooms could use better maintenance. Its location is a real plus for the old city, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Borja and Dan gave us great service, and we had a really good time here. Our room was cleaned every day. Thank you!

We slept well because the hotel is just far enough from the main square to stay quiet at night, even though it’s only a stone’s throw away. For exploring Valencia’s historic center, the location is hard to beat. The interior is lovely, the rooftop pool is gorgeous, and our room was spacious with high ceilings and a huge shower. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. A few things in the room could be better: some ceiling lights flickered constantly, the shower temperature kept changing while the water was running, and the windows let in a lot of light because there were no blackout blinds. Still, I’d recommend staying here in Valencia.
