One Shot Palacio Reina Victoria 04 Hotel

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location worked perfectly for us. It was an easy walk from Estació del Nord and close to the Colón shopping area. The room was clean and a decent size, with a nice balcony view. The TV could use an update, but I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The walls were extremely thin. I was on the first floor and could hear cabinet doors closing in the room above, wall plugs being put in next door, voices in the hallway so clearly that I thought my door had opened, and water trickling through the walls when someone showered. I live in a busy city apartment and usually don’t mind outside noise, but this was hard to ignore. The hotel itself was really clean and modern, and the WiFi worked very well.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a lovely, well-designed dining area, good food, and plenty of choice. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the room layout worked well. My room was mostly good, though the socket above the desk was coming slightly loose, the wardrobe door couldn’t open fully because of the bedside table, water escaped from the shower onto the floor without a door, and the TV was old and awkward to use. The lifts also seemed quite old and could do with replacing. The reception area is small but nice, the hallways are pleasant, and the rooms are lovely. The hotel is in a terrific, safe location with lots of restaurants and shops. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

The area is bustling, but our room stayed quiet, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thanks, Zizzo! Sorry we didn’t tip you. There’s a laundromat just a two-minute walk away, Valencia E Nord is five minutes on foot, and Valencia Joaquin Sorolla is less than a 15-minute taxi ride. The location made it easy to walk everywhere, and I’d stay here again.
