I loved the Modernist decor, and the hotel is beautiful and excellently located. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The lobby and rooftop bars were lovely, and breakfast in the lobby bar was excellent. The staff were excellent and helpful too. I’d definitely stay again.

Getting there from the airport was so easy: we took the metro, and just 20 minutes later we were at the hotel, checking in one hour after getting off the plane. The hotel is very central, so we could walk to most sights. Reception felt friendly and welcoming, almost intimate, and took time to introduce us to Valencia and suggest an itinerary. Our room faced the street. We heard a little noise on Saturday evening, but the other nights were quiet, and the well-insulated windows meant it didn’t bother us. Open windows in summer might make street noise more of an issue. There was a great view and a lovely little balcony. The WiFi was fast throughout the hotel, with no coverage problems. There’s a beautiful rooftop bar for drinks and cocktails, with a partial skyline view, though it isn’t a huge panorama. They don’t serve meals or tapas there. A great hotel for a lovely city break.

We were upgraded to the hotel’s only suite, and it was stunning. The city itself is spectacular, and the hotel is central with all the amenities you’d want. Two employees in particular made our stay: Geyser, the head waiter in the breakfast area, was kind, patient and helpful, and always happy. Jonathan, the bellman, took great care of our luggage, left us some nice gifts in the suite and marked places to see and visit on a map. They went above and beyond in every interaction we had, and seemed just as attentive with other guests. They’re why we’re giving five stars.

Breakfast every morning was a lovely start, and Geyser greeted us warmly. His attention to detail and service were impeccable. I also loved the hotel’s design, as well as the other buildings by the same architect. The hotel sits in the heart of the city, two blocks from the train station and close to all the activities, including the city centre. Since the building was originally a private residence, I’d have liked to learn more about its history and original layout. Highly recommend.
