Palau De Palomar

We stayed in an apartment in one of Valencia’s most central locations, and otherwise had nothing to complain about. It was nice, clean, spacious enough and had good heating and air conditioning. The unpleasant part was a sewer smell that greeted us at the entrance and reached all the way to the top floor. Maybe it was due to the rain, but it was still unpleasant.

Such a great stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was right in the centre. The staff were lovely, and they let us leave our luggage there before our flight.

The place was super clean, with fresh-smelling linen, and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was amazing, with cold air conditioning, good WiFi and a well-stocked little kitchen. The laundry facilities were fantastic too. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and helped with anything we needed. We were close to everything we wanted to see in the old town. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Burglars broke in through our closed kitchen window on the first night. We were on the first floor, and they had to climb quite a way to reach the apartment. While we adults slept in our beds, they took everything they could get their hands on: jewellery, electronics, clothes, shoes, food and the keys to our rental car. They avoided our bedroom but went into the children’s room and took their things, even items from the bedside tables. The hotel offered no compensation and didn’t even give us a formal apology. We tried to talk things through by email, but they stopped replying. It would have been easy to offer compensation and an apology to show they cared about their guests, but they chose silence. Our stay at this hotel was a disaster. We can’t recommend anyone stay here. They’ve shown they don’t care about their guests at all.
