There aren’t any seats around in this no-frills station. If you arrive too early, just go over to the cafe for a coffee.

It’s a plain, clean station and easy enough to navigate. Still, why are there no seats to wait on? I also wish the public transport links to and from the station were better.

There are restaurants, a pharmacy, coffee shops, and other stores in this big station. It’s fairly clean, with plenty of taxis coming and going, but there’s no public seating. For toilets, you have to pay or use a restaurant, though they’re free once you’re past security. 3.9 stars.

At least the trains are usually on time. Otherwise, the station needs some care: there’s barely anywhere to sit, the toilets cost money, and the cafes are pretty miserable. The staff at the controls were unfriendly, too. Valencia is such a great city, but this railway station feels shoddy beside the grand Estacion del Norte. Come on, Valencia, spruce up Sorralla. There aren’t even any paintings or holograms of his there. The painter would be horrified.
