Dorma El Coloquio

We had a great room, beautifully designed and clean, and the service was excellent throughout, from reception to the bar and breakfast. The location is great and parking was convenient. Everything felt just right. I haven't come across a hotel this good in a long time, and we'll always come back when we travel to Valladolid.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location beside the Cathedral was perfect for visiting our daughter at the University, and our room was spotless and comfortable. Since there were no English-speaking channels, being able to cast from my phone to the TV was handy. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very pleasant. We liked sitting in the courtyard with a drink from the bar. Reception were helpful and friendly, sorting out taxis and assisting us. There are lots of bars and restaurants just a short walk away, and the city is so beautiful.

The hotel is right by the cathedral in the university square, with both the lively student area and the historic city center around it. There are plenty of places to eat and drink just a minute away. We were upgraded to the Junior suite, and the two-floor room worked really well with our two small kids. We could get them to sleep and still have some time to ourselves. The rooms are super nice, service is great, and the location is the best. We'll come back, and I'd recommend checking if they have rooms available when you visit Valladolid.

A really terrible experience. A very rude reservation representative called Rania canceled my booking without asking me. I only wanted clarification about the payment terms, because the online reservation said we could pay at the hotel. She then changed that to a demand for 50% of the total about three weeks before arrival, by bank transfer. When I asked if I could pay by bank card, Rania canceled the reservation. Don't book directly with the hotel. Book online to secure your reservation so they can't cancel it so easily.
