Ca L'Olier

It was a disaster. We booked through Booking.com, but nobody told us the owners lived next door and worked the field in front of the terrace, so there was no privacy at all. The house itself is nice, but some chairs were broken and the stairs had no handrail. There was also a security camera in the courtyard and on the terrace, which they said was just a “deterrent.” The shower heater broke, and we only got to use it once. Then Muntsa asked us to leave an hour before checkout because a technician was coming. We chose to leave the afternoon before, and they kept our tickets. If you want to feel watched, this is the place.

The village is charming and just right for getting away from everything, and Munsa was so lovely and attentive. We’ll definitely come back. The house itself was peaceful and comfortable, with everything we needed, plus a pretty patio with a small vegetable garden and a fantastic terrace.

The interior has been renovated with real taste and has all the comforts you need. The house itself is beautiful and authentic, a fine example of vernacular architecture that sits in harmony with the landscape. A great place to rest and switch off.

The only thing to bear in mind is that there are no shops or bars in the town. Otherwise, this tastefully arranged and decorated town house is a lovely base for a few quiet days exploring the beautiful area. The leafy vine over the terrace gives shade, with views across orchards and the mountain, and it’s a lovely place to eat, read, or just take in the scenery. Muntsa is charming and makes everything easy.
