The location was terrible, on a difficult-to-reach one-way street in an area Tomtom maps badly. There’s no elevator, which makes carrying a heavy pack up difficult for older people. The owner is making an effort to improve things, but the 3rd-floor bathroom was a wet mess. I had to tiptoe in and couldn’t use the toilet. I won’t return.
It smelled disgusting because people were smoking in the bathrooms and stairwells. The other occupants were really noisy, too. Not the best.
The bars and restaurants are a 15-minute walk away. If a grubby prison cell sounds appealing for the night, give this place a try.
It’s a bit old and out in the middle of nowhere, but they accept dogs and the owner is very helpful.
I went to the restaurants and found the service very nice, with polite people.
