We came back a second time after trying the grilled spring onions and snails, this time especially for the lobster rice soup. The beef carpaccio, beef tartare and salmon tartare are must-tries too. It's a great place for a typical meal of grilled spring onions and snails.

Casa Felix also has a very good bone-in sirloin steak if the calçotes aren't for you. Leave some space for dessert, too! The calçotes, a well-known Catalan dish, are like a cross between spring onions and leeks, and are available from October to February. They're cooked over a barbecue or open fire, then you peel off the outer layers to get to the juicy, tasty inside. You dip them in romesco salsa, and they're served on a roof tile, which is a fun touch. The bone on the steak adds flavour to the meat.

We had Casa Felix cater our wedding in Deltebre, after eating there a handful of times. Laura explained everything clearly while we were getting ready for the day, and the whole team was fantastic. They cooked excellent food and helped make it such a good day. The table setup was beautiful, and the apertivos were the best we've had at a wedding.
