We had no permanent running water for most of our stay. Next door, an abandoned house had a group of frightening stray dogs that got onto the property and barked loudly, mostly at night. The road down was dangerous and damaged one of our rental cars. There's no air conditioning, and there wasn't a good workspace with reliable internet. The internet was poor throughout the house. Some outlets didn't work and seemed dangerous, and chlorine was left out in the garden. The house was in much worse shape than the photos suggested. Everything was old and worn, it wasn't clean, and spider webs were everywhere. The garden smelled strongly of animal urine. We spent as little time there as possible, didn't enjoy the stay, and didn't feel welcome or safe. It wasn't worth the high price, and the pictures were misleading.
