Albergue Mar y Montaña- Hostel

The owner's kindness is what really made it for me. She's so sweet, pays attention to every request, and has made the place cozy and full of good energy. It's a lovely atmosphere, with nice company too. The prices are very good and the location is handy, especially if you're walking the Camino del Norte.

Lillian was so welcoming and full of positive energy. The sleeping area was extremely clean, and the shared space was comfortable. We had a fantastic communal dinner, then made pancakes for breakfast with Lillian's enthusiastic help. Recreating an American breakfast together was a great time. I left feeling rested and recharged. One of the best Albergues on El Camino Norte, and a really special Camino experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Everything looked new and clean, and there's a supermarket nearby. We really appreciated being able to use the fridge and washing machine. It's one of the loveliest albergues on the route, helped along by a kind hospitalera who makes you feel at home. I can only recommend staying here.

I slept like a baby and got my strength back here. Everything was just right. Lillian and Kai treated me with so much care. She’s one of the sweetest hospitaleras I’ve met on the Camino, and Kai is probably the funniest German man in the world, plus a good cook. A real pearl on the historic trail off El Camino. Thank you for everything!
