We were warmly welcomed to this charming place in a beautiful town with friendly residents. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean, with lovely views over the valley. We didn't eat a meal there, but enjoyed an evening drink in the bar and coffee, croissant, and toast the next morning. There was free parking around the corner, though it was full when we arrived. We dropped off our bags, then parked in the free car park down the hill.

Best-smelling rooms of our whole trip around Andalusia! It had a woody scent and something else special. If we could find out what they use, my life would be better 🤣👌

The room had an authentic convent feel, but the staff were far from good. The bathroom smelled bad, and when we complained, the only answer we got, literally, was that the wind had changed and caused the smell. Wifi didn't work either. When we told reception, a staff member just shrugged and said she couldn't do anything about it. 🤷🏻♂️ Not a great experience overall, though the cafe staff were very good, and we enjoyed the toast and coffee.

Those desserts were the highlight for us, especially the cheesecake and panna cotta, two of the best we’ve had. The dogfish and stew were really tasty too, and the service was great. We only stopped in for lunch, but it was a very good stop.

The staff were pleasant and efficient, and the place itself is beautiful. I only had breakfast at the bar, so I didn’t see the rooms. The coffee wasn’t great, and the bread was awful. There was just one other kind, which seems odd when such good bread is available locally.
