Hotel Fundació L'Olivar

The pool was a real highlight. With so few rooms, it felt almost private about 90% of the time. The hotel is tucked away somewhere very quiet, though services are only a few kilometers off and the beach is fairly close. Inside, the rooms were roomy, comfortable, and spotless. It had the charm we wanted, and the owners were very friendly. I did miss having a coffee maker, since outside breakfast hours it wasn't even possible to get a bottle of water. Still, I'd recommend the hotel.

Listening to the birds at breakfast was lovely, and the food was very good. I also really enjoyed the outdoor art circuit and the divine saltwater pool. It's a wonderful, one of a kind place for relaxing among nature and art. Thanks so much to Paula and Carme for making it feel extraordinary. I'll definitely be back.

We loved walking among the centuries-old olive trees and finding the spectacular sculptures scattered across the estate. Each piece seems to tell its own story, and the Empordà scenery alongside the art makes for a memorable atmosphere. The Fundació l'Olivar feels like a magical meeting of nature and art, a real hidden gem in Girona. The owner is lovely and clearly puts a lot of care and passion into the project, from the hospitality to the details in every corner. The prices felt reasonable for the cultural experience. It's a lovely way to unwind and do something different in a beautiful natural setting. We'll definitely return.

The team were so kind and attentive, and the setting was spectacular and really, really peaceful. There's no AC, but it cools down a lot at night, so leaving the window open to air the room made for a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was simple but good. I'd definitely recommend it.
