A Morada do Cigarron

The rooms are on the small side, but at that price, who’s complaining? It’s a cheerful little find in Verin, and the location is great.

We were right in the city center and got to enjoy the flour festival! Check-in was easy, and the staff were very good.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom were fine for sleeping and taking a break. The location also worked well for quiet walks. The main issue was how much sound carried through the building. I could hear showers and water running, and when other guests came in at night, their footsteps in the hallway and trips to their rooms were clear. I even heard conversations when the guests were young people. If you're a light sleeper, all that movement can wake you several times. That seems to come down to the building's structure and soundproofing, rather than the guesthouse itself. The beds have slightly firm springs. The sheets were perfectly decent, though if you're very particular about how functional they are and how white they look, I'd rate them 7 out of 10. Everything else was fine.

The receptionist made the stay especially nice. She was lovely, friendly, and ready to help whenever we needed, and her directions were much appreciated. There are several places to eat right in the square, too. The accommodation itself is simple and very well located, with excellent service.
