The room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable, and the double glazing kept the street noise out. It’s an old-fashioned hotel, though the stay itself was comfortable and the staff were friendly. They chatted with us even though our Spanish was very limited, and helped us store our luggage. Breakfast was coffee, fresh orange juice and a toasted croissant.

The owner was so kind and friendly, and the staff paid close attention to everything. My room was warm and cozy, spotless, and had an excellent mattress that was a pleasure to sleep on. I loved the whole stay. It was just right for me, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Vigo.

I couldn’t sleep because the bed hadn’t been changed, it smelled of tobacco, and the walls let every sound through. A couple in the next room partied until 3 a.m. After walking 34 km on the Camino to get here, this was the worst night of my life. I definitely can’t recommend it.
