Hotel Casa Anamaria

The people are what made Casa Anamaria so special for us. Mariona, Silvia, and the whole team made our destination wedding feel welcoming and smooth from beginning to end. Planning from afar can be stressful, but they cared about giving us and our guests a great experience. It was the best weekend of our lives, and having our closest friends and family together there for several days made it feel intimate. We’re already hoping to return for anniversaries. We had 50+ guests staying at the property and around 70 at the events, and the full hotel buyout worked perfectly. The villas were rustic and charming, while the main house rooms felt more modern and luxurious. Guests said everything was comfortable. The property has so many distinct spaces that the weekend never felt repetitive. We had the ceremony on the large lawn overlooking the rolling hills. Dinner was under string lights beside the main building, where there was also a flamenco performance, then the party moved to a courtyard that felt like a village square. The pool was the natural gathering place the day before the wedding. It’s huge and gorgeous, and everyone could relax together. Staff brought drinks from the bar all afternoon, handling a steady stream of Aperol spritz orders, and our welcome party there that evening was spectacular. After events, people gravitated to the bar inside the main house, and the staff kindly kept it open late so we could celebrate together. Dinner was incredible: an unforgettable lobster starter, perfectly cooked steak, and the wines we’d picked at the tasting. The meal felt thoughtful and far beyond typical wedding food. On short notice, the team also arranged a lovely lunch for everyone the day before. We first found Casa Anamaria online and fell for the historic building, grounds, and countryside, which looked almost unreal. We felt it could be our venue before visiting, and arriving confirmed that feeling. There’s a special magic to the place. When we came for the tasting and overnight stay, the staff welcomed us warmly. Mariona, the general manager, is warm, chic, and on top of everything, with a calm confidence that made us feel in good hands. The food at the tasting was incredible, and the wine pairings gave us confidence about the wedding weekend. If you’re considering Costa Brava for a wedding, this place is something special.

We stayed one night in the Ollers Junior Suite with our dog, and it was simply perfect. The hotel, grounds, room, food, and staff all showed immense attention to detail. We’re a couple who really pay attention to quality and service, and the whole team gave us a great visit. We’ll be back.

There are tons of roads nearby for hiking, and the hotel has a five-star wine selection. This was our second time spending New Year’s Eve here, and we love the place. The management is super nice. I do wish spa access were included, so we wouldn’t have to deal with extra fees at the end. A few restaurant staff could be a bit nicer, but the beautiful surroundings make it easy to brush that off.

The property is spectacular and very well maintained, with beautiful rooms and really comfortable beds. The food was outstanding too. Breakfast was great, and everything we tried from the menu was excellent. The bar staff were attentive and brilliant, even though we kept them busy. We rented the hotel for our May wedding, and from arrival to departure the whole experience was excellent. Reception, housekeeping, kitchen and bar staff, management, and the event coordinator were all outstanding. I could talk about it for hours.
