Lou had his own bed, treats, and food and water bowls waiting in our room. Mas Torrencito really raises the bar for being pet-friendly. With the grounds securely fenced, he could wander off leash, meet other dogs, and play in the little river, which was his highlight. People can unwind here too. We loved the cozy lounges, full of books and little collections to browse, and our spacious, clean room in the historic building, with soaps that smelled lovely. There were drinks to help yourself to, including non-alcoholic beer, and fridges stocked with food to enjoy on the sunny terrace or in the warm dining room. It’s a wildly romantic place in nature, just behind an old church. Breakfast was amazing, with lovely cheeses, eggs, toast, cakes, fresh orange juice, good coffee, and great company. Miguel has created a real gem. Thanks for having us 🐾

We spent the evening in the out room by the fireplace, playing games and having drinks. There’s a trusting system for taking food or drinks, as long as you write it down and pay at checkout. The breakfast could have been better, but we had a great stay and would definitely return. I loved being surrounded by nature, and the sheets smelled incredible. The soap brand was great too. Miguel couldn’t be there when we arrived, but let us know ahead of time and kindly offered us a beer from the fridge while we waited. We also loved the music coming from the terrace. Dogs need to be leashed when you first arrive so they can get used to one another, and they all got along well. We even had a cuddle with one of Miguel’s dogs at breakfast. It was lovely that the guests’ dogs could then wander around off leash, and everyone was so nice.

Just half an hour from Girona, this is a beautiful countryside place with roomy, comfortable bedrooms that feel cozy. The breakfast was delicious. Thanks, Miguel and the team. Hope to see you again soon!

We only stayed one night with our three little dogs, and their beds, treats, and bowls were all ready for them. This place is extremely pet-friendly, which was lovely. One suggestion for the owners: the dining area smelled terribly of wet dogs, which made eating there less pleasant. I know it had rained and there were lots of dogs, but perhaps an air freshener could help.

My sister and I absolutely loved this amazing B&B and will be back! Our only regret is that we didn’t bring our dogs, because they would have been in dog heaven. The owners’ joyful energy and all the resident and visiting dogs made our stay such a delight. We were smiling and laughing the whole time. The old stone house is full of charm, with a gorgeous terrace and the best kind of artistic, quirky decorations. The food setup was fun and creative too: loads of wine, beer, vermut, spirits, and tasty food to choose from. Eating was an adventure, and the food was delicious and easy to heat in the pizza or toaster ovens. You won’t be short of anything!
