Carril has a quiet, non-touristy feel that we really liked, and the house is just steps from the shore, bars and restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket. The highway is only a couple of minutes away too. Inside, everything felt fresh and clean, from the well-made beds to the generous welcome basket. It was such a nice place to come back to after traveling all over Galicia. I'd happily stay here again on another trip.

We'd gladly recommend Fogar da Roda to anyone wanting to spend time in Galicia. It's a lovely place to stay, and Carril is worth exploring too. The house was spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, plus more. Jose and his wife were so hospitable. Thank you!

Carril is a beautiful town, and the house is right by the beach in an unbeatable spot. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The rooms were comfortable and decorated with great taste, the place had everything we needed, and it was impeccably clean. Jose and his wife were wonderful hosts. Two families stayed for a week in August, and we came away thinking this may be one of the best houses we've ever rented. The beautiful coastal town has all the amenities within a two-minute walk. Inside, the owners have thought through every detail for guests' comfort: tasteful decor, everything fully equipped, and spotless throughout. It's an ideal place for a family holiday in Galicia. Highly recommend it!

Carril's special charm really stood out, with a lovely promenade and the beach only a few metres from the house. We spent a week at Fogar da Roda with our family and loved the beautiful setting. The home was comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. It was spotless, and the owners were very pleasant. Thanks for everything, Jose. We'd definitely return.
