The hostess was so kind, bringing us fruit and a homemade cake. We stayed with family or friends, and the house is lovely for sharing. There's a small cottage set up for barbecues, and the flowers and quiet surroundings make it a very peaceful place. It is quite humid, though, and that attracts centipedes. There are lots of blankets and electric heaters, so I imagine it must get much colder in winter.
We all came away very happy after staying here as a family. The house and area were perfect for relaxing and switching off, and there wasn't a single downside for us. The welcome and amenities were so good, among the best we've had. When we return to La Palma, we'll definitely stay at Casa de la Cruz again. Highly recommended, and many thanks!
