The mosquitoes were awful in the evenings, and after just one night we were glad to leave. The toilets and showers were dirty, and it looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Trash was left outside and seemed to have been sitting there for a while. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We only stayed two nights, and it was a quiet, relaxing visit since the campsite wasn't busy. The facilities could use an upgrade, though the toilets and showers were clean and got cleaned every day. Nacho was especially friendly and helpful, five stars for him. The facilities get three.

The toilet block is showing its age, although there was plenty of hot water. The pitches themselves are well looked after. You can hear some road noise in the daytime, but nights are fairly quiet.

The pool was a great way to cool off in the hot sun, though it only opens from 11:30am to 7pm, so there's no early swim. The campsite is just outside Granada and has a massive pool attached. It was cash only, and the electric hookups used a regular Spanish two-pin plug instead of the standard connection. We could either buy an adaptor at the camp shop for €24 or make one ourselves at the nearby Leroy Merlin for €11, which is what we did.

We chose not to stay at camping Suspiro del Moro. The facilities felt far below what we'd expect of a modern campsite, even allowing for the low prices. The electrical installation seemed dangerous, the water came from equipment that looked questionable, and the sanitary buildings were appalling. There was also intolerable music coming from the neighbouring building. The person who met us wasn't welcoming when we arrived and showed us around. When we said the site wasn't as advertised, he basically told us to fuck off. Some people did.
