The building itself is amazing and historically significant, and staying here gave me the chance to see it and meet lovely Carmen. The stairs and hallways really do make you feel like you're in a palace, and the rooms are spacious. Carmen takes great care of each guest, checking them in, showing them to their rooms, and walking them to other facilities like the luggage storage and laundry area. It's a one-minute walk from the beautiful town square. I'm very glad I stayed.

We found bed bugs, and the place wasn't clean. There was no water fill that we could find, no curtains in our room, and the light shining in was incredibly bright. The hospitalero was rude and the signs were poor. There are so many better places at the same or nearly the same price. Pass on this one. There are good restaurants nearby, but even if this place served food, I wouldn't eat it.

Bed bugs in the private double room! I found another one after the hostess said I was lying and I showed her. She still wouldn't refund me, then took my things and threw them out, making a scene. I'm going to try to get my money back.

The building is beautiful, and it was great not to have bunk beds. But I had bedbug bites on my arms the next day, so be careful if you stay here.

We all woke up to bedbugs in the room. They were in all the blankets, which are folded on the beds before guests arrive, so bringing a sleeping bag might not help. There's no WiFi, the woman wouldn't unlock the kitchen, and the dryer is broken. For a room with ten beds, there are only about three electrical outlets.
