The valley in the Penyagolosa nature reserve is stunning, and this is a great place for a vacation. If the weather’s good, the scenery gives you plenty of reason to be outside, so it could suit families and people who love hiking. The food was decent, though nothing special. The wooden cabins were very small and not comfortable at all. It’s pet friendly and felt covid safe, but I wouldn’t choose it for a spa-like stay.

There’s plenty to explore here, from hikes and caves to ghost towns, so it’s a great place for an adventure. The staff were kind and dependable. I’d highly recommend it if you want a break from normal city life, or somewhere to exercise freely.

They have new owners! Both the accommodation and food were a 10 out of 10. My cabin had a bathroom and was just right, with good air conditioning, fresh towels, duvets, and sheets. Everything was spotless. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all high quality and very well prepared. The service was attentive, friendly, and caring. The setting was peaceful, with beautiful nature and scenery, and the activity I took part in was inspiring and surprising.
