The hotel is still open while the reception and restaurant are being renovated. You have to call the manager to be let in. I arranged for Correos to drop off and collect my bag, and that went smoothly. Inside, the place is modern and clean.

I found the room cozy and nice, and the bed was warm and comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Nobody explained whether I could use the hostel kitchen while staying in a room, and my code wouldn't get me into reception. The walls are so thin that laughter from other rooms sounded like it was in the hallway. The locks look modern, but they're loud enough for everyone on the floor to hear.

Everything was clean and well equipped, and I had a good stay overall. The other Pelegrinos came back to the hostel at 23.30 making a lot of noise, and it woke me up. I was there in early April, when nights are still cool, and I wonder how it feels in warmer weather. The place isn't very large, and with the traffic, opening the windows doesn't seem like much of an option.

For €33 a night, it's a very reasonably priced place to sleep, and my small room was fine. The location worked well for me, at the entrance to the village with parking, though it's not right in the center and there's no view. Access to both the hotel and room is by a code they send through WhatsApp. I only stayed one night and asked to check in an hour early just to leave my suitcase, since I was going to a wedding and wouldn't return until the early hours. They said no because they were cleaning. I understood, though it would've been handy to leave it in the room closet or somewhere. The bathroom was okay, but I'd have liked shampoo as well as shower gel. The gel seemed more like hand soap to me. After 8 pm, once people were up and about, I could hear everything through the walls: talking, showers, even the guy next door running. It's a decent choice if all you need is a bed. If you want somewhere for a longer stay, a romantic getaway, or a special location, this probably won't suit you.
