Hotel Boutique Mirador de Deyo

I treated myself to a stay here while walking the camino. The setting is gorgeous, the hotel is beautiful, and the food and staff were fabulous. Everything felt spacious, spotless, and comfortable. There’s a pool, a lovely outdoor area, a gym, a restaurant, and a bar.

On December 31st I was walking the camino and nearly everything along the trail was closed. I needed a restroom, spotted this hotel open, and asked the receptionist if I could use the facilities. She was so kind and helpful. It was a lifesaver that day. I wish them well and hope I can return as a guest someday.

The restaurant made a great impression: the service was excellent, the oysters were fresh and nicely presented, and I highly recommend the Beef Bourguinon. A family in Pamplona had recommended that dish and the restaurant to me. Thank you, Guia and Javier, for making my visit memorable. The whole place is an oasis of peace and comfort.

I slept better here than I ever have away from home. This gem in a picturesque Spanish village has exceptional service and a very high level of quality throughout the hotel. It’s a perfect place to stay when visiting the region, and the region is worth visiting for this place too.
