Hotel Don Angel

We had nowhere to sleep that night. Just hours before we were due to arrive, the property moved our reservation to the following day. When I called, the hotel told me it was fully booked, and then I was charged for cancelling the next day's reservation too. A horrible experience.

For one night, it might be acceptable if you're able to pay the price, which is why I'm giving it two stars. The hotel was in poor shape and not clean: stained towels, hair on the sheets, dampness, a bad smell in the bathroom, and lots of noise. We were only allowed to book a triple room, but it was just the double room with an extra bed, which wasn't even provided at first. If double rooms are available, they should let people book one instead of advertising only triple rooms and charging more for the same thing.

At checkout, we had to wait 20 minutes because nobody was at reception, even though we were in a rush for a scheduled appointment. We'd been told on arrival to pay when leaving. The stay was unpleasant in other ways too: the pillows seemed well over 20 years old, and there was no shower curtain, so water went all over the bathroom floor. That's all. Best regards.

We felt right at home thanks to the warm, super friendly staff. The service and attention were spectacular, a real 10/10. We stayed for two nights, and the rooms were spotless, very clean, and comfortable. Couldn't have had a better experience. I'd definitely come back and recommend this place, it's a 10/10!
