Puerta de la Demanda

We spent two nights here in our motorhome, and it felt just right: enough facilities, but still a personal touch. The restaurant is very good, with people coming over from nearby villages to eat. We walked and cycled, hiring an e-bike for €35/24hr, and the roads were very quiet. The Via Verde is close by too. There’s an impressive machine by the water supply for emptying, cleaning, and adding chemicals to the loo cassette, for €2. The Wi-Fi was very weak, which could be an issue for some, though it wasn’t for us because the mobile signal was good. We’d highly recommend the site.

This time we stayed in a pod, and it was lovely. We usually come in our van when we’re on the way to visit family in France, and we always get a warm welcome, our dog included. We love the area, and the bar serves traditional food with excellent service.

It’s a lovely quiet spot with great walking nearby, and Burgos is about a 30min drive away. There are no shops in the area, so you’ll need transport or should bring your own food. The pitches are fairly level, the facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s also a good bar and restaurant on site. We’d recommend it and would come back if we’re in the area.

We only stayed overnight, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was great. There’s a fantastic machine for cleaning the portable loo. I wish we had those in the uk! The surrounding area is beautiful, and I’d like to come back for a longer stay next time.
