The rooms suited us fine: simple, comfortable enough, and surprisingly quiet even with a bar downstairs. There’s parking right there, so leaving the car was no problem. A Mercadona restaurant with ready-to-eat food is about 10 minutes away, which is handy, though La Pichula, the hotel bar, serves very good food. My partner and I had a really good stay at Peñacabrera. Pablo, the manager, was especially friendly and kind, always ready to help. His recommendations helped us enjoy Asturias even more.

Pablo was so kind and put together a route for us each day. My partner, my dog Azu, and I had a wonderful time. Neil cooks delicious food at the restaurant, and Armando was such a warm, friendly host serving us. Thanks so much, guys!

The breakfasts were great, and the price was really good too. Pablo, the owner, was lovely and kind, giving us recommendations, routes, and places to visit every day. It’s a charming country hotel in a little spot surrounded by nature, just right if you’re after some peace and quiet.
