H10 White Suites — Adults Only

The outdoor areas were really nice, the staff were lovely, and the calm, adults-only setting was something we appreciated. Parking was easy and free on the street outside. Breakfast had variety, and dinner was okay. We were glad the hotel had vegetarian and vegan options, as finding those nearby might have been trickier. We stayed three nights. It was pleasant, but I wouldn’t call it boutique. For the price, the room was disappointing and needed renovation. It had damp, worn and damaged furniture, and the bathroom needed attention. Nothing was awful, but the price-to-quality balance felt questionable.

A brilliant hotel, with superb facilities, spacious rooms and pools of a decent size. The staff were truly excellent and couldn’t do enough for us throughout the trip. The food was among the best all-inclusive meals we’ve had, with unbelievable quality. Try the Lanzarotian potatoes.

We paid £1000 each for a comfortable flight of over 6000 miles, efficient hotel transfers, good food and facilities, and lovely weather. It was 20 degrees every day. For all that, we had a fantastic stay at H10 White Suites Hotel. Easyjet handled the flights and transfers excellently, with good communication. The location is great, about a 45-minute transfer from the airport and an easy walk to the beach, Playa Blanca or Rubicon Marina. People around us complained about no hot plates at the buffet, freezing pool water, average food, poor entertainment and plastic chairs at the pool bar. I wonder if some hadn’t been on package holidays before. In my experience, the hotel is fantastic. Book a balcony suite with a pool view and go all-inclusive. The staff across reception, food and drink, cleaning and maintenance were visible, delightful and excellent. The buffet does have hot plates if you look for the clear heat indicators. I enjoyed lovely salads, fruit, and fish and meat cooked in front of me. The pools were a perfect temperature and felt safe. Entertainment was superb, with poolside music some days and shows at 7pm and 9pm. A few things could be better. The poolside bar could do with an update for staff and entertainment, and sometimes food was left out too long in the mornings. Some buffet dishes weren’t refreshed or heated properly, so I went for salads and freshly cooked meat and fish. It would also be nice if management did small meet-and-greets or walkabouts to see how guests were enjoying their holiday.

The rooms were spacious, comfortably furnished and pleasant to be in. My main room complaint was the shower: it was good, but the glass screen was too small and water partly flooded the floor every time we used it. The pool area was very good, and the pool bars and staff were great. Both pools felt a bit chilly, though. The sunbeds were incredibly comfortable, and there were lots of them. The hotel and grounds look lovely, and it’s in a great spot. There’s a supermarket across from the entrance, and the beach, cafés, bars and shops are about a 5-10 minute walk away. The main restaurant is buffet-style with very good choice and quality. It’s a bit small, so there can be a queue for seats, and the compact buffet area gets congested, but don’t let that put you off. We tried the Italian restaurant once and were disappointed. The meal was lukewarm and not very good, the worst of our holiday. All in all, we loved our stay and will definitely return.
