This was the worst hotel. The room access code kept failing, and staff just told me to try again. After that, no one answered the intercom. Four or five other groups had problems too, including code errors and double bookings. The hotel finally acknowledged a system issue, but it still wasn’t fixed. Someone called the police, and only then did the manager turn up and sort it out. He never apologized. It was already past 2 AM, and that day of our trip was ruined.

We couldn’t sleep at all because other customers were noisy all night, and there was nobody on site to help with the noise or our complaint. The check-in machine’s speaker was extremely loud, with no one nearby to assist. The bathroom faucet had a very short neck and was really difficult to use.

The room was modern, renovated, clean and quiet, and the bed was a marvel. It was spacious and so comfortable that we slept like royalty. Street parking behind the hotel was easy. It’s a great base for Toledo or Puy du Fou, about a 30-minute drive away. For the price, this hotel is fantastic. There isn’t someone sitting at reception, but they answer straight away over the video system. You get into the room with a code and can reach them on WhatsApp too. There’s a café next door with an entrance from inside the hotel, and everything we had was delicious. Breakfast was a real treat, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The room was great, the cleaning staff were really friendly, and the cafeteria was perfect. Reception was the problem. They changed the access code without calling to tell us, and then we had to wait 15 minutes for them to answer the phone. There’s no reception desk, everything is handled by phone. I’d give reception a 1, but I liked the other things.
